? We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Lisbon)

Who We're Looking For:

• We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join a front-office,
  - performance IT team supporting FX trading operations. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside Java and C# developers, directly supporting traders and
  - line business users.

✅ Professional Experience:

• Design, develop, and maintain the Position and Trade Booking platform
• Develop core services and shared components, including:
• Feed handlers;
  
  Shared libraries;
  
  Metrics and reporting tools;
  
  Front-end applications
• Ensure systems meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance
• Participate fully in an Agile SDLC, including:
• Technical analysis;
  
  Documentation;
  
  Development and testing;
  
  Code reviews.
• Provide Level 3 production support when required
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

✅Technical Skills:

• Strong backend engineering expertise with a focus on high-load systems
• Proven experience in:
• High-performance system design
• Writing and profiling performant code
• Distributed computing and caching technologies (e. G. , Oracle Coherence or other DHTs)

✅Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• At least 2 years in a technical leadership role
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or other low-latency distributed systems
• Experience with migration and refactoring of legacy systems
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

✅Technology Stack:

• Java SE – Expert level
• C# /. NET – Practical experience
• SDLC – Expert knowledge
