Asenium is seeking a Senior Io
T Software Engineer to join a key development project focused on EV charger integration and Io
T solutions in the energy sector.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal – Hybrid (70% Remote / 30% On-site)

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Io
T applications using Java, Node. js , and the AWS Cloud platform.

Manage AWS cloud services, ensuring secure and efficient deployment of Io
T solutions.

Maintain and improve Git
Lab Dev
Ops CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate Io
T devices and various sensors.

Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to enable communication between Io
T devices and AWS infrastructure.

Design and support data ingestion and processing pipelines using Apache Kafka.

Implement security measures to ensure encrypted and compliant communication between devices and cloud systems.

Conduct code and design reviews, and maintain high development standards through unit and functional testing.

Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong command of English (B2 minimum).

Advanced experience with AWS cloud services , especially for Io
T applications.

Proficiency in Java (Object-Oriented Programming) and
- on application development.

Experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks.

Solid understanding of both SQL and No
SQL database systems.

Practical knowledge of Dev
Ops tools and processes (e. g. , Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins ).

Familiarity with
- driven architectures and tools like Apache Kafka or Flink is a strong plus.
