Our business is growing quite fast and we are profitable most months. We have raised $5m from top US VCs including Afore Capital, Contrary Capital, Village Global, and 40+ angel investors. This is a
- time, hybrid role based in Lisbon, with three days a week in the office.

As most of our customers are in the US, we adjust our schedule to allow for overlap, working from around 11 a. m. /12 p. m. to 8/9 p. m. This role is under a contractor agreement.

What you’ll be doing

• This is an IC code contribution role, where
  - 'll be shipping 0 to 1 fullstack product features. You-'ll spend your day working with our founder to understand product requirements and building features to meet those requirements. Our stack is Ruby on Rails(Frontend & Backend), Stimulus
  JS, Redis, Sidekiq, Postgre
  SQL, and Heroku.
• You-'ll work with AI -- both using code assistants to increase your output and directly integrating AI into the Candor product.
• You-'ll collaborate with our 3 other engineers, reviewing PRs, ensuring code is
  - tested and
  - architected.

Role requirements

• You have at least 5 years of experience building fullstack product features, ideally in a
  - backed startup environment.
• You've worked with Ruby on Rails or comparable technologies.
• You’re a strong communicator and enjoy being deep in the product. We
  - 't have a PM and our engineering team spends time understanding and helping define product requirements.
• You’re creative and curious. Even if you don’t know the answer, you’re willing to dig deep to find it and can work autonomously in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• You’ve set up pipelines to LLMsand have an interest in building with AI.
