Responsibilities

• Develop test specifications for
  - oriented embedded software running on 16/32-bit microcontrollers
• Implement, optimize, and maintain automated tests using the Robot Framework and Python scripting
• Participate in the review process to ensure quality and compliance with standards
• Collaborate with hardware and system teams to support testing and validation activities

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in software development or testing for embedded systems, preferably in the automotive industry (railway or medical experience also considered)
• Basic understanding of embedded C programming and ability to design effective test cases
• Proficiency in software testing tools
• Experience with Python scripting for automation
• Knowledge of automotive bus systems such as LIN, CAN, FR, and DSI3
• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, Enterprise Architect, SVN, or GIT
• Understanding of Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) standards
• Background in
  - driven software development
• Knowledge of electronic circuits and
  - on experience with hardware tools (e. G. , oscilloscopes)
• Familiarity with
  - metal development
