The candidate will join the Solutions Engineering & Presales Department, as a senior solution architect for Portugal. They will focus on a consultative preselling activities becoming the technical reference for key accounts and in charge of designing solutions to solve problems when the standard portoflio does not fit. Besides, they will be in charge of complex opportunities requiring busniess line/group level approval as well as of ensuring that the bid management internal processes are followed by all stakeholders in the country.

- The role involves understanding the client's needs and requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and helping deliver customized solutions to meet their business objectives.

- They design and develop solutions (i. e. , consultative selling) in close alignment with presales specialists that: meet customer requirements, are feasible, are
- effective, and are aligned with the company's products and services.

- They act as proposal managers (more info later) for selected clients and solutions. They will have to deal with Delivery in Iberia and with other Thales' entities and potential subcontractors to develop the proposal. This implies designing the solution, its cost model, developing the proposal, leading the defence workshops, ensuring bid management process is followed, etc.

- They have a broad knowledge on all company’s products and services. Therefore, they play a major role in cross selling strategies.

- They have a broad knowledge on bid managemetn process.

- They foster selected customers’ demand to achieve growth objectives, by supporting account managers and helping prioritize solution development. This requires a very close and direct relationship with selected accounts.

- They gather and analyze data to help the sales team understand customer requirements, market trends, and competitive landscape to improve the sales pitch, as well as to develop a roadmap for nominated clients.

Skills:

- Extensive experience in presales and bid management.

- Great understanding of a 360º cybersecurity portfolio.

- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.

- Proficient Word, Power
Point and Excel skills.

- Extensive experience with contractual/financial/economic topics: gross and net margin, cash flow, bond/guaranttees, penalties, liability, etc.

- Computer Science Engineering

- Recommended security certifiations: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, GICSP, ITIL Foundation, etc.
