Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP MDG solutions that drive high data quality and regulatory compliance in a global tobacco and consumer goods environment, enabling reliable data for business operations and analytics.
• Architect the integration of SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless data flow across the application ecosystem and analytics systems.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams (Information Technology, Functions, Data & Analytics) to define and enforce master data standards, ensuring enterprise master data integrity and providing consistent, trusted data for strategic
  - making.
• Provide technical leadership in master data initiatives, aligning solutions with industry best practices and standards to
  - proof the enterprise architecture.
• Contribute to enterprise agility by enabling efficient, governed data processes that can quickly adapt to new business requirements and regulatory changes.

What is needed to succeed in this Role?

• Hands-on experience designing and configuring SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions for Material, Customer, Supplier, and Finance master data (MDG-M, MDG-C, MDG-S, MDG-F), including defining data models, workflow processes, and BRF+ validations.
• Familiarity with SAP MDG integration with SAP S/4HANA (including S/4HANA Retail, S/4HANA CFIN systems) to ensure
  - wide master data consistency.
• Strong knowledge of MDG’s Data Replication Framework (DRF) for distributing master data to target systems, with experience integrating via IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and web services (SOAP/OData).
• Solid understanding of core SAP ERP master data and processes in modules like MM, SD, and FI, to align MDG configurations with underlying business needs.
• Proficient in enhancing and extending MDG functionality using ABAP (BAd
  Is and user exits) and customizing MDG UI (e. g. , SAP Fiori apps) according to SAP best practices.
• Involved in multiple
  -
  - end SAP MDG implementation projects (3–5 years of MDG experience), with exposure to system upgrades or migrations (e. g. , ECC to SAP S/4HANA) and master data migration activities.
• Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) services for master data governance and integration (e. g. , SAP Integration Suite or Master Data Integration services).
• Exceptional analytical,
  - solving, and
  - making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative,
  - management mindset.
