SENIOR SOURCING ASSOCIATE – ENGLISH SPEAKER

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be responsible for sourcing various indirect category projects and statements of work in the ELMAC region, following Procurement policies and guidelines. You will work closely with the Country Sourcing Manager and business leads to implement sourcing strategies and contracting needs.
The responsibilities include:
- Understanding business requirements to source effective suppliers and solutions.
- Identifying value opportunities through negotiation or RFX scenarios from statements of work & purchase orders.
- Managing sourcing & negotiations to meet business needs across Commercial & general indirect categories.
- Ensuring compliance with Amgen’s procurement policies, supported by supplier contracts and statements of work.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
Our ideal candidate:
- Has a degree and/or +4 years of sourcing experience.
- Understands sourcing processes (tendering, negotiations, contracting) across multiple indirect spend categories.
- Is proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Is proficient with MS Office, including Excel.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Possesses
- solving skills.
Preferred requirements include:
- The ability to understand business goals.
- The capacity to work independently while ensuring quality.
- Experience with
- procurement tools like Scout & Ariba. - Analytical skills to evaluate information.
- Additional languages (e. g. , Italian, German).
