Senior Specialist Sustainability – Circular Economy (f/m/div) Maia

Job Description

As a Sustainability Specialist - Circular Economy, you will help drive Infineon's commitment to sustainable innovation by embedding circular economy strategies into operations, products, and services. As part of our sustainability team, you will work closely with global colleagues from R&D, logistics, and manufacturing to ensure our circular economy goals are not just met but continuously advanced.

In your new role you will:

• Support the exploration, definition, and implementation of circular economy principles within company operations, products, and services
• Collaborate with teams across R&D, logistics, and production divisions to transform market and regulatory insights into actionable circular economy strategies
• Help manage and align circular economy requirements across various business areas
• Lead or contribute to reporting activities for circular economy and inflow materials according to CSRD and other regulations
• Stay on top of trends, regulations, and best practices in circularity and sustainable development, translating knowledge into impactful actions
• Engage and inspire
  - functional stakeholders by communicating circular economy and sustainability goals

- driven work. With a strong commitment to sustainability and the circular economy, you thrive in diverse teams and build bridges across functions and cultures. Your project management skills, combined with your ability to communicate complex ideas, make you a driving force for positive change.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s in sustainability, environmental science, business, education, or a related field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in sustainability, with a focus on circular economy, ideally in a large corporation or consultancy
• Experience in the semiconductor or a related
  - driven industry with strong technical understanding
• Knowledge of industry sustainability regulations and circular economy standards
• Proven project management skills and ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
