We are looking for a Senior Sql Database Administrator to join our global Database Operations & Engineering team!

Responsibilities

• Manage the full SQL Server lifecycle (2008–2022) in a complex, international environment
• Participate in daily global operations meetings, responding to incidents, changes and requests within defined SLAs
• Monitor backups, automated patching and system health via native tools and custom scripts; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and propose preventive measures
• Migrate, upgrade and clone databases as required; support DR tests and communicate recognized risks and improvement areas
• Deliver 24×7 support autonomously, recording all actions in Service
  Now
• Contribute to database engineering: define and maintain standards, documentation and automation (T-SQL, Power
  Shell, Puppet)
• Evaluate and pilot new database features and related products; develop new DB services and address security & audit topics
• Consult, plan and execute activities directly with internal and external customers

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 8+ years of senior SQL Server administration experience (2008–2022) in international, matrixed organizations
• Proven expertise running SQL Server on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Strong scripting and automation skills (T-SQL, Power
  Shell, Puppet)
• Solid grasp of ITIL change management practices
• Excellent
  - solving, analytical and communication skills in an English-speaking environment
• Ability to deliver 24×7 support and collaborate across time zones and cultures
