Position: Senior SQL Developer

Location: Lisbon

Hybrid: 2 times a week at the client’s office

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Mandatory languages: English (minimum B2); French is a plus

Position Overview

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join an IT project responsible for the design and development of a Data Processing application executed in batch mode using Spark SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the conception, design, and development of data processing solutions.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for batch data processing.
• Work collaboratively within an Agile team to deliver
  - quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality, version control, and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Requirements

• Mandatory: Spark SQL experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in an MS-SQL development environment, preferably in Data Processing projects.
• Strong expertise in Transactional SQL and Relational Databases (Postgre
  SQL).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (e. g. , Git
  Lab, Liquibase).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
