Senior SQL Developer

Location: Lisbon - 2-3 times a week in the office

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract

Languages Required :

• English (C1 level)
• French (B2 level) – priority will be given to French-speaking profiles.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join a challenging and multicultural IT environment. You will play a key role in the design and development of a Data Processing application , executed in Batch mode using Spark SQL . This role is ideal for someone with strong SQL expertise, solid experience in data processing environments, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in an Agile setting.

✅ Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an MS-SQL development environment (preferably within Data Processing).
• Strong knowledge of Transactional SQL .
• Experience with Postgre
  SQL .
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Git
  Lab, Liquibase).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology .
• Fluency in English (C1 level) .
• For now, we are only accepting candidates already in Portugal and possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with Spark SQL .
• Knowledge of object storage solutions (e. g. , S3).
• French (B2 level) – priority will be given to French-speaking profiles.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data processing applications in batch mode.
• Work with MS-SQL and Postgre
  SQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git
  Lab and Liquibase.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment , working closely with international teams.
• Ensure technical best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
