Senior Staff Software Engineer will supervise the design, implementation, and integration of new features across complex software products, services, or components. Serving as the technical leader across multiple teams, the role will also be responsible for defining technical strategy and work plans across various projects and teams based on
- level framework and vision; will execute high quality code design at all levels. This role will be essential in providing technical solutions and proactively suggesting and facilitating improvements of all kinds.
What You'll Do
- Leads the teams to use best practices and create best solutions.
- Sets technical direction for multiple teams or across the related technical community.
- Demonstrates expertise and ownership across wide set of components, products and/or services.
- Implements complex stories and fixes issues across multiple layers, writes unit tests and improves unit test framework.
- Creates code and software architecture of complex features with multiple components and products when required, can do it without high level architecture plan, uses best approaches and design patterns.
- Reviews architecture and designs from other Architects and Staff Engineers, identifies design and architecture issues early.
- Troubleshoots, debugs and isolates complex issues, proposes solutions.
- Uses low level operating systems knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proactively suggests enhancements to building frameworks and tools to streamline development activities.
- Makes technical critical decisions when the project faces a setback if needed.
- Experience of at least 10 years in developing commercial applications
- Profound knowledge of Windows subsystems, and optimization techniques
- Demonstrated competence in writing C++ applications
- Proficiency in network technologies, protocols, and developing
- level,
- latency network applications - Experience with Web Sockets
- Proficiency in developing solutions to work with network protocols like TCP, UDP, SNMP, and operate in P2P communication paradigms
- Expertise in developing native protocol implementations from RFC documentation
- Familiar with SQL syntax and custom implementations.
