What Profile of a Startup Leader Senior are we looking for?

Qualifications  

Professional & Technical Requirements   

• Proven experience  in supporting startups and entrepreneurship ecosystems (minimum 1–2 years preferred) 
• English and Portuguese fluency, both spoken and written (indicator minimum ex: B2, B1, etc. ) 
• Based in Portugal, preferably in the center (Coimbra, Aveiro, Leiria,  Covilha) due to travelling around Portugal in general, if needed 
• Multicultural experience MANDATORY  (example: ERASMUS, or frequent travel abroad) 
• Highly skilled in MS Office 365 ecosystem, preferably: Power
  Point, Excel, Word, Teams 
• Available to travel throughout Portugal (5–10% time) and assist entrepreneurs and our partners in creating maximum value 
• Advanced competences in project management , including: 

• Proactive project risk management 
• Strong time management and prioritization 
• Oversight of deliverables, timelines, and milestones 
• Budget control and efficient resource allocation

Main Role Activities  

• 80% remote work / 20% presentation meetings with entrepreneurs, partners, and the Empowered Startup team 
• Act as a senior facilitator and coach  of the ES Platform Startup roadmap, supporting our entrepreneurs and partners 
• Guide entrepreneurs through their Startup Journey, connecting them with service partners to accelerate their growth 
• Review information and ensure our Startup Entrepreneurship framework processes are operating effectively 
• Report to and collaborate with multiple senior leadership stakeholders 
• Assist the organization in facilitating Startup events conducive to the Entrepreneurship ecosystem 
• Disseminate information to entrepreneurs regarding various events pertaining to innovation involving partners, universities, and local incubators 
• Compile, manage, and share relevant information with internal teams 
• Lead and
  - manage R&D Projects  between entrepreneurs and research teams, including: 

• Guarantee delivery requirements between entrepreneurs and university researchers’ teams and
  - versa 
• Ensure updated and timely information sharing between relevant parties 
• Track progress timelines and manage risks proactively 
• Review documents regarding research projects and outcomes
