We are looking for a Senior Unix System Administrator to join us in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring the application status.
2. Monitoring the infrastructure server resources.
3. Tracking all the incoming requests on the ticketing system.
4. Updating the progress of the execution of all tasks in the ticketing tools.
5. Proposing and implementing optimizations for the project (can be linked to server configuration, rewrite of scripts).
6. Assessing the priority of the incoming requests involving the key people who might be helpful in defining it.
7. Performing the analysis, planning all technical tasks required and executing them.
8. Defining tactical solutions to resume processes as quickly as possible.
9. Adopting the global and departmental guidelines, IT best practices, and IT Security recommendations.
10. Guaranteeing
    - call availability during the required time windows or at the weekend for extraordinary activities.
11. Acting as the first point of contact for all tasks/enquiries related to production.
12. Coordinating the change management for all the applications in scope.
13. Understanding the underlying issue and the associated patch fix/release and identifying systemic issues.
14. Contributing towards better
    - release checkouts.
15. Improving
    -
    - day tasks by writing scripts and automating tasks that are
    - oriented.

Requirements:

1. At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Unix Sys
   Admin.
2. Experience with Linux Red Hat.
3. Experience with Scripting.
4. Knowledge of Dev
   Ops tools (preferably Ansible).
5. Experience with Monitoring tools (preferably Dynatrace).
6. Expertise with Databases.
7. Teamwork attitude: work cooperatively toward a common objective.
8. Fluency in English.
