Job Summary

Keyrus is looking for a Senior Talend & Integration Engineer. The ideal candidate embodies technical prowess in Talend, coupled with a fervent commitment to making every piece of data matter. We value individuals who are

Key Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain ETL flows (standard ETL processes and Enterprise Service deployments).
• Integrate Talend with messaging and API layers for seamless data exchange.
• Knowledge of Talend ESB is considered a strong plus.
• Python Development
• Develop custom scripts and services to extend Talend functionality.
• Automate integrations, transformations, and middleware interactions.
• Manage and optimise Active
  MQ for reliable, asynchronous communication.
• Ensure decoupled,
  - driven data flows across systems.
• Familiarity with message broker concepts and willingness to learn or strengthen expertise in Active
  MQ.
• Secure, monitor, and manage APIs using Apigee.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, reusable webservices.
• Apply policies for security, authentication,
  - limiting, and governance.
• Work closely with distributed teams in Poland and France.
• Share expertise, support internal developers, and drive knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with partner companies to cover skill gaps.

Requirements for the role

• Strong
  - on experience with Talend (Data Integration).
• Proficiency in Python (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Active
  MQ or willingness to build deeper expertise.
• Exposure to Apigee (or other API gateways such as Mule
  Soft, Kong, WSO2, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, IBM API Connect).
• Strong understanding of web servicesand middleware integration.
• Excellent
  - solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in an international, distributed team environment.
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Talend ESB.
• Experience with at least one message broker technology (e. g. , Kafka, Rabbit
  MQ, or similar).
• Java development for extending integration and middleware logic.
• GCP experience (Big
  Query, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, IAM, Cloud Functions).
• CI/CD & Dev
  Ops practices (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
