Overview

randstad is recruiting for a client, a renowned bank that´s seeking a Senior Technician in Occupational, Health and Safety at Work for a temporary project

Responsibilities

• Support in the process of requesting a waiver for internal services.
• Implement corrective measures identified by Medialcare.
• Monitoring of Medialcare in updating and preparing risk assessments (Porto and Lisbon).
• Monitoring of Ergonomize-se in the preparation of ergonomic risk assessments for all workstations.
• Promote improvements in the ergonomic conditions of workstations.
• Collaborate in the design of work locations/workstations.
• Monitoring of Medialcare in conducting Occupational Hygiene assessments (Porto and
  Lisbon - Noise, illuminance, thermal environment).
• Monitoring of subcontractors in the assessment of indoor air quality and Radon.
• Monitoring of Medialcare in the investigation of work accidents at the facilities.
• Recording of work accidents.
• Management of chemical products (safe storage of chemical products).
• Definition of rules and best practices at storage and usage sites for chemical products.
• Collaboration in assessing occupational diseases in conjunction with Occupational Medicine and Medialcare.
• Support in reducing occupational diseases.
• Develop and implement corrective or preventive measures to address
  - conformities identified in:
  
  occupational hygiene assessments
  
  risk assessments
  
  ergonomic assessments
  
  occupational disease assessments
  
  work accident investigations
  
  clinical recommendations by Occupational Medicine
  
  etc.
• Support in the preparation of training manuals (program content) in HST, as well as their operationalization.
• Support in the development of procedures, safety instructions, awareness campaigns, information campaigns, etc.
• Support in collecting and organizing statistical elements related to HST (e. g. , frequency rate, severity rate, incidence rate, recording the gross number of work accidents, recording the number of days off due to accidents or occupational diseases, etc. ).
• Ensure the organization of the documentation required at the HST level.

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety Engineering or Safety at work
• experience in Risk assessment and in Development and implementation of preventive and corrective measures
• Experience in Occupational, Portugal Safety Law, ISO 45001, in Document management and in Occupational Health and Safety
• Professinal level of English
