Senior Manual Software Tester - 100% Remote - B2B / Autónomo - 3 month initial contract - £200 per day

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Tester, with strong manual testing skills, to join our client's dynamic and innovative software development team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their software products through comprehensive testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and a proven track record of leading testing efforts across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements.

- Collaborate with
- functional teams to understand project goals and requirements.

- Design, create, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and
- structured test cases.

- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify software defects and ensure overall system reliability.

- Lead and drive automation testing efforts to improve efficiency and coverage.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using
- standard tools and frameworks.

- Identify, document, and track software defects through their lifecycle.

- Generate and communicate detailed defect reports to development teams, ensuring timely resolution.

- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.

- Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and any potential risks to project timelines.

- Lead and participate in
- sharing sessions to enhance the overall testing capabilities of the team.

- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing trends.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Software Tester with a focus on manual testing.

- Strong expertise in test planning, test case design, and execution.

- Proficiency / knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks (e. g. , Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, Test
NG).

- Experience in performance testing tools (e. g. , JMeter) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and
- solving skills.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a
- paced, agile development environment.
