About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on crafting
- quality automated tests, with an emphasis on API testing, to enhance software quality and user experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation frameworks and a proactive approach to integrating testing within the development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks primarily focused on API testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability of backend services.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating closely with the Dev
Ops and Infrastructure teams to enhance deployment processes and ensure seamless test execution. - Design and implement efficient testing solutions for APIs, ensuring the accuracy, performance, and stability of test scenarios across different environments.
- Serve as a technical expert in automation, assisting in the selection and adaptation of various testing tools and frameworks.
- Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring that quality standards and deadlines are met.
- Actively communicate and collaborate across teams to troubleshoot complex issues, delivering solutions that improve product reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software test automation (4+ years) including
- on expertise with API testing frameworks, - Proven ability to lead projects and push initiatives toward completion while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues and solutions to various stakeholders.
- JMeter experience
- Strong experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with Dev
Ops teams to optimize processes. - Experience with hardware testing is highly desirable and considered a significant advantage.
- A track record of innovative
- solving and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. - A collaborative spirit, capable of working effectively in a dynamic,
- functional environment. - Candidate must reside within Portugal with legal right to live and work in Portugal.
