Senior Test Development Engineer

Overview

Senior Test Development Engineer: Rhino – We Are META connects Rhinos with clients across diverse sectors of the tech industry. This role is for a consultant who will work within the We Are META network and collaborate with recruiters to identify suitable positions and policies (remote, hybrid,
- site) that fit the candidate and company culture.

Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks to support scalable, reliable, and maintainable testing across projects.
• Mentor QA team members, provide technical guidance, and help improve automation productivity.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote best practices in quality engineering.
• Contribute to test strategy and execution for API, UI, and other testing domains as applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of professional experience in software testing and quality engineering, with strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium Web
  Driver, Test
  NG, and Cucumber.
• Solid experience in API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins, with a basic understanding of Dev
  Ops concepts.
• Proficiency in Java, applying best practices and design patterns in test automation.
• Proven ability to design, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Experience mentoring QA team members and improving automation productivity.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Availability for
  - site work in Lisbon, Portugal.
