Test Manager
Our client is looking for a talented Group Technology Test Manager to help our luxury Maisons during their digital transformation journey, with a specific focus on Client & Market domain and its products.
The Client & Market domain comprises product areas covering Retail, Wholesale, E-Commerce, Client Engagement, Online Customer services, Order Management systems, Omnichannel content, among others.
The Test Manager will work in a global environment with highly distributed teams in different countries and time zones and at different management levels.
He/she is responsible to manage an initiative from a Quality Assurance (QA) standpoint and in support to the Program Manager and the team assigned to the initiative. He/she will be joining a team delivering Quality and Program management services, as well as other impactful transversal services, as Release Management coordination, and Business Relationship management. Therewith he/she anticipates, organizes and drives activities around integrated testing with stakeholders within and across Technology Product Areas of our domains, including
- shore based, and with a varied group of business stakeholders, all related to the assigned initiatives. The scope of activity therefore embraces analysis, design, implementation, and execution of test procedures at every stage of the initiative process, as well as defining testing strategies and test plans to be executed as part of the validation processes. This is including Functional, Security and Performance requirements. With support of the Program Manager, he/she has a key role in escalating critical risks and major deviations.
In specific situations, a Test Manager may be delegated and act as embedded resource within a given Product organization, and will therefore follow the respective ceremonies and instances in agreement with related Product Area Manager and leading roles.
The Test Manager will also recognize when test automation is appropriate to ease the integrated tests and run regression test campaign, together with a QA engineer.
He/she will be responsible for reporting on the test progress, delivery quality status and test results, adapting test plan and compensating as needed to adjust to evolving conditions.
Additionally, the Test Manager has a key role in the Quality Control within the Program deliverables, managed via a documented methodology, and especially requirements for key Milestones of the assigned initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Test management
About Test Strategies & Integrated testing principles
-Define the Test Strategy to be applied based on the best practices and initiative specificities, especially the related Release Plan.
-Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per the standards defined by the organization.
-Understand the integrated testing effort by analysing the requirements and constraints of the initiative.
-Mobilize and manage identified stakeholders for the execution of Integrated testing activities.
-Anticipate integration challenges, by proposing “Integrated Testing Checkpoints” for relevant
- team deliverables.
About Test Plans and their execution
-Develop Test plans, identify dependencies and resources required to run each test phase.
-Write/review/validate the Test cases documentation.
-Coordinate definition of test prerequisites such as data, configuration and environment readiness.
-Establish a test traceability matrix and ensure requirements coverage.
-Organize the relevant meetings around integrated testing within the initiative (kick-off,
- up, closing, etc. )
-Ensure content and structure of all related testing documents / artefacts is documented and maintained. Ensure the timely delivery of the different testing deliverables.
-Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
-Execute defect tracking activities such as issues triage and resolution
- up.
-Escalate the critical issues about program requirements to the program management.
-Prepare QA metrics (on test execution and defects) dashboard and update at the end of each test phase.
Around the delivery and ways of working
-Thoroughly apply Richemont compliance and security requirements across initiatives.
-Act as a coordinator of QA Engineers (incl.
- shore, if needed) contributing to the delivery of the Initiative.
-Contribute to tracking new requirements / change requests of the Initiative, in support to the Program Manager.
-Ensure that frameworks, tools, methodologies, and best practices are applied/used consistently throughout teams, while allow for customization where it is fit for purpose.
Contributor to Community of Practices
-Share outcomes, especially initiatives related QA KPIs (on test execution and defects) within program team and community.
-Share best practices and lessons learned and contribute to all relevant retrospective processes.
-Be an active contributor to Group Technology QA Community of Practice.
Quality Assurance in Programs (follow-up of deliverables)
-Be a promoter of Quality, including during Program Execution, with all kinds of stakeholders.
-Support the Program Manager in the execution of Quality Control practices related to the readiness of program Deliverables by Milestones.
-Be involved in Cutover plan executions, and mobilized in case of key issue encountered during Production go lives for root cause analysis and in support of Product team representatives.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
-5 to 10 years of experience in integrated Test management in an international context.
Experience
-Past experience as QA engineer is highly suitable
-Proven history of leading QA activities with full responsibility for corresponding deliverables
-Proven ability to perform and organize
-
- end testing.
-Knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies
-Experience of working in agile environment with remote teams and stakeholders
-Proven experience in Retail and/or E-commerce domains
-Prior experience in system integration and data migration projects is a strong plus.
-Experience of Luxury industry is a strong plus.
-Development background is a plus.

Education
-Graduated in an Engineering School, Master degree or Bachelor in business, digital/web technology, mathematics, engineering or science.
-ISTQB or ISEB certification is suitable.
- Fluent English is required, French is suitable, other languages are a plus (e. g. , German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese)

-Able to work in versatile organization and multicultural environment.
-Flexibility to travel abroad on periodic basis (e. g. , Geneva probable, other destinations possible)
