Senior Treasury Analyst

The opportunity
Finastra is currently seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Treasury Analyst to join our team. Finastra operates a centralized treasury function. Treasury’s role is to manage the company’s liquidity and financial risk. As a Treasury Analyst, you will be expected to ensure we comply with all debt requirements, support the team in automating current processes, optimise our banking structure and help manage our liquidity. Main Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Debt Management
- Manage Term loan interest selection, interest payments and amortization
- Manage RCF drawdowns/repayments + interest payments
- Manage compliance around our debt covenants, ensuring the organization complies with the agreed rules
- Assist in the implementation of a new Treasury Management System
- Act as primary backup for Cash Management and Foreign Exchange
- Operate the daily cash processes and cash pools across the group
- Assist with queries from AP, Expenses, Payroll and other payment processing teams
- Assist with the consolidation of banking arrangements to key banking partners
- Bank account administration: Ensure reconciling items included in bank reconciliations of Treasury‑managed accounts are understood and resolved
- Execute FX transactions as needed
- Support Treasury Controls and ensure adherence to controls in place for monitoring of treasury activity
- Provide input to Treasury Policies
- Reporting
- Other ad‑hoc activities and involvement in Treasury projects, as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or economics
- 2–3 years of experience in a fast‑paced, corporate environment. Project management and/or TMS experience a plus
- Ability to take initiative and follow through with a passion for high‑quality work, drive to get things done
- Positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Team player who can effectively build collaborative relationships across offices and functions
- Self‑starter, ability to work in a virtual environment as needed and with minimal supervision
This is a hybrid role with 2 days each week in‑office requirement.
