About the Role:
As a Senior UX Designer at ZEISS Vision Care, you will be at the forefront of developing intuitive, appealing, and
- converting user experiences across our sales channels. You’ll drive the global UX strategy for ZEISS Vision Care, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders to deliver
- class experiences that enhance customer satisfaction and sales. If you're an expert in UX design with strong leadership potential, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development of user experiences with a focus on sales promotion and conversion across ZEISS Vision Care's global sales channels.
- Lead the UX design stream, providing mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
- Manage global UX design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand goals, while working with external partners to drive consistent design quality.
- Lead international projects, tailoring UX designs to meet the cultural and business needs of diverse user groups.
- Drive sales growth for ZEISS Vision Care through exceptional UX design.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, testing them with consumers to gather feedback and iteratively improve the user experience.
- Collaborate with
- functional teams to develop and refine user experience concepts, ensuring effective teamwork and efficient project execution. - Shape UX strategies and concepts that support business objectives, including user requirements, profiles, and user research planning.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Experience Design, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on
- commerce, omnichannel concepts, and B2B2C/B2C sales models. - Proven experience in designing online sales experiences for premium products.
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong experience in developing omnichannel shopping experiences that optimize conversion.
- Deep understanding of psychological principles and how they can be applied to product design to enhance user experience.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, and testing with users to inform design decisions.
- Expertise in user research methodologies, analysis, and
- driven design decisions. - Advanced communication skills with the ability to present to senior management and influence stakeholders.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, and proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Miro.
- Experience with Azure Dev
Ops for agile development is a plus. - Ability to mentor and guide team members in UX research and UI design.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and international project teams.
- Ability to steer external partners and vendors, ensuring quality and alignment with ZEISS Vision Care’s objectives.
- High cultural awareness and a willingness to travel occasionally to work with global teams and partners.
- Highly organized, with the ability to plan and manage your work independently.
- Empathetic toward the needs of users and committed to designing experiences that meet these needs.
- Open to feedback and able to iterate and adapt your work based on insights and critique.
- Strong
- making and risk management abilities to achieve design and business goals.
