About Siemens Foundational Technologies Department Siemens Foundational Technology is the central
- house R&D unit at Siemens and as such is an integral part of Siemens' innovation ecosystem. It acts as a strategic partner to support Siemens’ business units with R&D services, contributes to the company’s intellectual property portfolio, and coordinates the collaboration with top universities worldwide. Your mission will be… Our UX department designs
- centric digital solutions for industrial platforms, performing user research, testing, and close
- functional collaboration to deliver intuitive and efficient experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience (UX) Specialist who will contribute to shaping product development and crafting meaningful digital experiences for Siemens. This role involves working on innovative B2B digital products and collaborating closely with
- functional teams.

What are the responsibilities?

• Lead and execute UX projects to enhance Siemens’ digital product interfaces and user experiences, incorporating feedback to refine design outcomes.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to translate user research into actionable, innovative design solutions, always open to feedback and sharing insights.
• Conceptualize, design and prototype
  - centered interface experiences, focusing on smart buildings/infrastructures and industrial transformative projects. Present design insights to internal teams and partners, while advocating for consistent design practices.
• Conduct user research, facilitate workshops, and embed a culture of UX evangelization to drive UX insights and strategies internally.
• Drive UX innovation and transformation by integrating best practices into customer projects, sharing expertise across Siemens, and promoting
  - centric approaches.

We are looking for someone with…

• Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Interaction/UX Design, with at least 4 years of proven UX/UI design experience. Leadership experience and/or B2B/industrial background is a plus.
• Strong UI portfolio demonstrating
  - centered design processes, the ability to conceptualize interaction flows, create effective prototypes, and employ design system expertise.
• Proficiency in design tools (e. g. , Figma) and experience with design systems, ensuring consistency, scalability, and usability across products.
• Proactive problem solver, demonstrating the ability to introduce novel methodologies and tools, explore innovative solutions, and step outside of their comfort zone.
• Continuous learner with a strong desire to acquire new knowledge, skills, and methodologies. Approaches complex topics with curiosity and motivation to explore unfamiliar challenges.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; a team player who encourages open communication, mutual respect, and knowledge sharing across diverse teams.
• Solution-oriented, with a dedication to UX evangelization, actively seeking out feedback from colleagues, stakeholders, and users, and leveraging it for improvement.
• Self-motivated, with a passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI. Enthusiastic about exploring AI's impact on work and eager to lead in understanding and leveraging these advancements.
• Fluency in English
