About the Role
As a User Experience Designer within the OCS team, you’ll work
- functionally with Product Owners, Researchers, Analysts, and other stakeholders to craft engaging user experiences that drive sales and satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for translating insights into wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that elevate the

- end journey of our customers and partners globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Design
- centric,
- optimized experiences across multiple sales channels. - Collaborate with Research and Data Analytics to transform insights into actionable design solutions.
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to define clear,
- driven user stories and UX requirements. - Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual designs that can be tested and validated with real users.
- Conduct or contribute to A/B tests and iterative design processes based on user feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the ZEISS omnichannel UX strategy and support its implementation at scale.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary, international teams to bring omnichannel experiences to life.
- Stay updated on UX best practices, digital accessibility standards, AR/VR trends, and apply them to your work.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Experience Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in UX design, ideally in
- commerce or omnichannel environments (B2C focus). - A strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, execution, and outcomes.
Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of UX design principles, accessibility, and user psychology.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Miro.
- Data-informed mindset with experience using A/B testing (Adobe Target experience is a plus).
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with
- functional, international teams. - Familiarity with agile development (Scrum) and the ability to deliver in
- paced, iterative environments. - Experience with AR/VR interfaces is a plus.
- Proficiency in English (German is a plus).
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
