Senior.NET Software Engineer Lisboa

Our client is a Silicon Valley company specialising in Vertical AI Saa
S solutions, collaborating with top firms worldwide in industries such as accounting, consulting, investment banking, legal, private capital, and real assets.

They’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong . NET experience to join their growing R&D centre in Lisbon. You’ll design, build, and maintain software using . NET and Azure, contributing to key features and driving product innovation.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development with. NET: Build backend solutions using. NET, ASP. NET, and. NET Core, with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with
  - functional teams on architecture and technical solutions.
• Cloud-Native Development: Develop
  - native applications on Azure.
• Development Best Practices: Follow best practices for security, performance, and maintainability in both software and cloud architecture.
• Clean Code Writing: Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Mentorship & Technical Guidance: Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Infrastructure & Dev
  Ops Leadership: Lead discussions on cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and Dev
  Ops practices
• Technology Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest software and cloud technologies.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and solve technical issues early to improve engineering processes and reduce production incidents.

What You Bring

• Experience in system architecture, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with databases (e. g. , SQL Server) and
  - based data architectures.
• Experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and Dev
  Ops tools (e. g. , Jenkins, Git).
• Comfortable working in an agile development environment.
