Service
Now Architect role at BNP Paribas CIB
Integrated in the Global RISK ORM Iberian Centre of Excellence, the Group Data Protection – Privacy Solutions & Automation team is responsible for:
- Tooling & automation strategy to support privacy operations, mostly through the Data Protection Hub (DPHub) based in Service
Now. - Design, configuration and deployment of Service
Now platform DPHub - Functional and technical support to end users.
- Platform technical administration.
- Product management, including change, evolutions, interfaces with other Group tools, knowledge base and information sharing in relevant forums.
- Coordinate and conduct DPHub Governance, including Steering Committee, Change Management Committee and DPHub Customer Forums.
- Develop and execute DPHub training and awareness for global teams across 1st and 2nd line of Defense.
- Manage 3rd party vendor that support the team with the configuration and software development required to evolve DPHub.
- Promote and increase adoption and awareness of the DPHub supporting privacy activities.
Your Main Activities
- Lead support and change work on Service
Now including user access requests, fixing bugs, configuration of changes, implementation of new functionalities. - This is a technical role. Technical configuration, coding and Service
Now development skills are considered as a “must have”. - Collect, understand and discuss business requirements, then define technical design to support the business process in Service
Now DPHub. - Actively participate in the

Now projects including support. - Develop comprehensive test scripts and perform regression testing.
- Support in future tool upgrades.
- Keep up to date on Service
Now new features and limitations. - Provide
- user support.
Profile And Skills To Success
- BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be a Service
Now trained administrator/ developer. - Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Service
Now Administration/ Technical Projects - Ability to understand requirements and delivering these requirements in the context of tool implementation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Showing initiative to manage own research efforts.
- Ability to independently trouble shoot issues raised by end users and provide timely and efficient administrative solutions.
- Team-player, focused on the success of the whole team. Working well both with others, as well as individually.
- Taking accountability for own actions and be open and honest when things have gone wrong, and celebrating successes when things have gone well.
Technical Experience
- Trained Service
Now system administrator/ developer.
Other Competencies
- Presenting documentation in a professional and
- structured format. - Strong MS Office skills (core applications).
- Must have good proficiency in English language.
