ServiceNow Assistant Application Developer (L1 Support)
1. About the role:
The Service
Now Assistant Application Developer focuses on initial troubleshooting of incidents, fulfilling requests, and escalating issues when necessary. Responsibilities also include system administration tasks such as technical modification, creation, and deletion of groups, accounts, and locations.
1. 1. Core Competencies:
- Incident Management: Troubleshooting and resolving incidents reported within the Service
Now platform.
- Service Request Fulfillment (PAC): Proficient in handling Pre Approved Changes (PAC) requests, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met for the PAC queue.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contributing to internal knowledge by identifying problematic issues and conducting initial research.
- Developing Service
Now technical skills and proactively seeking to increase expertise.
- Team Collaboration: Communicating and working effectively with colleagues and customers.
- On-Call Support : Showing willingness to participate in
- call rotations.
2. We are looking for:
• Years of experience working with Service
Now : 2-5 years
• Certificates:
CSA
• Technical Skills:
SNOW fundamentals
Proficient in PAC: Highly capable in managing all aspects of the Pre Approved Changes.
ITIL Proficient : Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management).
• Soft skills:
Customer-Focused: Presents exemplary customer service skills.
Problem-Solving (Developing): Shows willingness to investigate and fix issues, and proactively researches before seeking assistance.
Team Player: Actively participates in team activities and receives positive feedback.
Eager to Learn: Demonstrates readiness for scripting,
- call duties, and more complex tasks.
SLA-Conscious: Understands and prioritizes meeting defined SLAs for assigned tasks and queues.
• Languages: English (Fluent).
