Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced Service
Now Developer with a strong focus on Domain Separation within a TPSM (Third-Party Service Management) instance.
The ideal candidate will possess
- depth knowledge of:
- Service
Now platform development, with a specific emphasis on implementing and managing domain separation - Ensuring secure,
- tenant functionality across distinct business units. - Developing, configuring, and supporting Service
Now applications, workflows, and integrations while ensuring the integrity of data isolation and segregation in a TPSM environment.
What You Will Do
- Domain Separation Improvement and Maintenance
- Review and recommend improvements to the domain separation solution within the Service
Now platform, ensuring secure data and process separation across multiple domains. - Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into domain separation models for different business units.
- Ensure that all business units have appropriate access and visibility to Service
Now instances while keeping data isolated as per business needs.
- Service
Now Development - Develop and customize Service
Now applications, including creating custom workflows, business rules, scripts, and user interfaces. - Collaborate with other developers, architects, and administrators to ensure seamless integration and customization of Service
Now solutions. - Develop solutions to meet the unique requirements of a TPSM instance, ensuring that
- party management workflows, approvals, and escalations align with domain separation best practices.
- Configuration and Customization
- Configure Service
Now to meet the specific needs of TPSM and
- specific requirements. - Work with business process owners to create and maintain configurations, including
- specific views, notifications, data sources, and service catalog items. - Assist in setting up and maintaining
- specific
- based access controls (RBAC), ensuring the right level of access and data visibility across domains.
- Collaboration and Support
- Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to domain separation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with system administrators, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the correct configuration of
- specific requirements and data management. - Help in the migration and deployment of domain separation configurations in both development and production environments.
- Work with Clients, Internal Onboarding Specialists and Project Managers to implement configurations for clients within the TPSM instance
- Leverage API, Email Inbound Actions and other Integration Hub Spokes, to achieve system integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, Connect
Wise, NCentral, Docu
Sign, Qualys, JIRA, Rally and others as needed.
- Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize Service
Now platform performance to ensure the system meets the needs of all domains, with a focus on scalability, availability, and security. - Troubleshoot performance issues related to domain separation and TPSM instances, identifying areas for improvement.
- Documentation & Training
- Document the domain separation configurations, workflows, and processes for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Provide training and guidance to end users and other team members on
- specific configurations and features.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service
Now Developer with strong knowledge of domain separation on Service
Now, preferably in a TPSM instance.
Experience in designing, implementing, and managing domain separation models in Service
Now.
Proven track record in developing and customizing Service
Now applications, workflows, and business rules.
Skills & Knowledge
Proficiency in Service
Now platform features, including Service
Now Studio, Business Rules, Script Includes, Workflows, Scheduled Jobs, Service Catalog, Service Portal, and Notifications.
Strong understanding of Service
Now domain separation concepts, including data partitioning, user roles, security, and
- tenant configurations.
Familiarity with TPSM (Third-Party Service Management) processes, configurations, and workflows.
Proficiency in Java
Script, REST/SOAP Web Services, and API integrations with external systems.
Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Access Control Lists (ACLs), and data security measures in a
- domain Service
Now environment.
Certifications
Service
Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
Service
Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus.
Service
Now Certified Implementation Specialist in relevant modules (e. g. , ITSM, TPSM) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with
- instance configurations in a
- separated environment. - Ability to work in a
- paced environment with multiple competing priorities. - Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with both technical and
- technical stakeholders. - Strong understanding and practical experience implementing ITIL best practices and following structured Change Management Processes.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
