Summary

The Shipping Assistant is responsible for preparing and issuing all export shipping documentation, processing outbound shipments, coordinating with transport companies, and acting as the main point of contact with freight forwarders for import/export documents. The role also ensures accurate picking and packing of orders, investigates shipping non‑conformances, recommends corrective actions, and maintains accurate records and documentation to support internal and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue all export shipping documentation.
• Process outbound shipments and coordinate with transport companies for timely delivery.
• Act as the primary contact with freight forwarders for import/export documents.
• Ensure accurate and efficient picking and packing of orders for shipment.
• Investigate shipping‑related non‑conformances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Administer and operate warehouse: receipt, storage, and shipment of materials.
• Optimize inventory levels through control measures and demand analysis.
• Implement strategies to reduce carrying costs and improve space utilization.
• Conduct regular audits of order processing procedures to identify improvement areas.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in Shipping and Receiving.
• Academic diploma.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Understanding of Incoterms (nice to have).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
• English language proficiency (mandatory).
• Required technical and functional skills and basic business knowledge.
