To ensure our continued success in Portugal, we are looking for a motivated and driven Shop Manager (m/f/d) for our point of sale at the Lisbon Oriente bus station, to start as soon as possible. You will be responsible for the operations of the point of sale, as well as our activities at the Flix
Bus bus station. This role reports to the Head of Shops and Stations Europe West.
About The Role
- Team Supervision: lead the field team with support from team leaders. Provide guidance and ensure goals are achieved.
- Motivation & Coaching: keep the team motivated through regular feedback and support for individual performance.
- Service Quality: guarantee excellent reception, sales, and customer service processes at the station.
- Continuous Improvement: monitor operations and suggest ways to improve organization and efficiency.
- Reporting: share regular updates on shop and station performance with relevant teams.
- Incident Management: act quickly in crisis situations, making effective decisions to minimize business impact.
- Scheduling & Coverage: optimize schedules to ensure resources are always available. Step in when leaders or agents are absent.
- Onboarding & Training: support smooth integration of new hires and provide ongoing training for the team.
About You
- 3+ years of professional experience, with team management experience; preferably within customer service, retail, operations, or transportation sectors.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills to ensure team alignment with company interests.
- Organized, responsive, and attentive: capable of managing sales organization and maintaining oversight for smooth operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Flexible availability from Monday to Sunday,
- based.
