Shopping Centre Junior Engineer
CBRE Portugal is looking for a Junior Engineer to be part of a Property Management team responsible for one Shopping Centre in the great Lisbon area.
The role is based in the mentioned Shopping Centre, in Lisbon.
The Junior Engineer will report hierarchically to the Shopping Centre Operations Manager and will be responsible for supporting the daily Operations (hard and soft facilities) of the Shopping Centre. The Junior Engineer will also help in the preparation of tender processes, hiring and management of third party services related with Facilities Management, such as Maintenance, Human Security, Electronic Security, Cleaning, Gardening and Landscaping, Pest Control, etc, , as well as participate in tender processes for occasional services, supporting the entire process, from tender to works monitoring, reception and guarantees supervision. He/she will also have to perform, follow and report internal and external technical inspections of the assigned portfolio, ensuring that the assets meet with all regulations and legal requirements.
Close monitoring and management of Utilities, such as Energy and Water will also be part of the set of roles for this position.
LIKELY PROFILE
Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, or environmental) with at least 1 year of experience, preferably in building management, maintenance, or facilities. Knowledge related to the environmental field in building management will be considered an advantage.
The candidate must have personal qualities that demonstrate potential for professional advancement, including motivation, commitment, initiative, focus on customer service, and lateral thinking. The ability to work in a team is essential.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Other requirements include strong IT skills (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power
Point) and autonomy in document production.
The candidate must be fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
