Position Overview

Morgan Latif has been exclusively retained by a multinational client with global presence in the Industrial Technology sector to search for a confidential key hire as a Site Director. This is a critical leadership role overseeing and transforming the plant’s operations in Porto, Portugal.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and inspire a
- performing management team to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Transform legacy systems and implement

- class manufacturing practices.

Develop the management team, fostering accountability and collaboration.

Strengthen internal and external communications to enhance plant efficiency and effectiveness.

Improve employee engagement and reduce turnover, ensuring key staff retention.

Drive and embed a culture of change and operational excellence across the plant.

Qualifications & Experience

Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operational Management, or equivalent, MBA is a plus

Hold 10+ years in a manufacturing environment, with strong
- level operational experience.

Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role, managing operations teams.

Proven track record in Chemicals, Packaging, FMCG or related sectors.

Demonstrable experience in driving continuous improvement through the use of Lean methods

Ability to operate in a
- maturity environment and drive transformational change.

Develops and keeps a culture that promotes the creation and implementation of new ideas and innovations, with a strong ability to lead change.

Portuguese, English (C1 European Language Level – strong written and verbal communication), Spanish is an advantage
