Site Manager
AGSE Europe is seeking an experienced and
- driven Site Manager to build and lead its European operations cost center with a strong focus on Ground Support Equipment (GSE), engine tooling, and metal fabrication along with product distribution. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of proven leadership in operations, with strong experience in metal manufacturing. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, including production, HR, supply chain, quality, finance, EHS, and customer support with an initial anticipated headcount of 25. This role will drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with industry standards, and maintain AGSE’s reputation for precision, reliability, and safety.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead
- site operations, integrating manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer service to ensure seamless

- end execution, operational efficiency, high product quality, and excellent customer satisfaction. - Provide
- on leadership to ensure
- time delivery of quality aerospace ground support equipment and
- fabricated tooling products that meet customer specifications. - Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Develop and manage the annual budget and financial reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and implement
- control strategies. - Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout the facility to drive process improvements and accountability.
- Implement and maintain robust quality assurance processes, conducting regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
- Establish and lead SIOP and integrated planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, CE regulations, and relevant aerospace and welding certifications.
- Support the introduction of new GSE products and design changes, working closely with Engineering and Program Management to ensure manufacturability and quality.
- Collaborate with senior leadership in the U. S. to provide clear updates on production status, facility performance, risks, and improvement plans.
- Continuously assess and improve fabrication workflows and personnel capabilities, ensuring the workforce is trained and equipped to meet evolving production demands.
- Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with local and international EHS regulations. Enforce proper use of PPE, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventive measures.
- Lead incident investigations, report
- misses, and ensure corrective actions are completed. Promote a
- first culture across all levels of the organization. - All other duties as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, operations, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated experience in site start up and leading a new operation.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, preferably within GSE, aerospace tooling, or
- duty metal fabrication environments. - Experience implementing and managing ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary production teams in a
- paced environment. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with
- functional teams and senior management. - Strong analytical and
- solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a commitment to drive continuous improvement. - Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and fabrication tolerances.
- Demonstrated knowledge of EHS policies, regulatory compliance (e. g. , REACH, Ro
HS, EU-OSHA), and best practices for industrial safety. - Fluent in English (written and verbal); multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes including MIG/TIG welding, structural steel fabrication, CNC machining, mechanical assembly, and finishing.
- Familiarity with aerospace, military or commercial ground support standards and specifications (e. g. ATA, CE compliance).
- Lean six sigma certification.
