Salary: €70-80K base plus benefits

Site Manager – Portugal
You will be responsible for delivering complex commercial and manufacturing projects across Portugal, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site operations and workforce to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate material deliveries, logistics and site safety protocols.
- Liaise between project managers, subcontractors and engineering teams.
- Ensure daily operations align with project timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve ground challenges promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Significant experience managing site construction activities, preferably in scale projects such as data centres, logistics centres or commercial builds.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred. Equivalent on‑the‑job experience will also be considered.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations and site safety protocols.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Health & Safety Compliance: In‑depth knowledge of HSE regulations, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Problem‑Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve site challenges efficiently.
- Time Management: Strong organisational skills to manage daily site operations, materials and workforce scheduling.
- Communication: Excellent ability to coordinate between project managers, engineers and site teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with site management tools, project tracking software and reporting systems is a plus.
- Advantageous Experience: Previous work on European construction sites or in data centre projects is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience
- Data centre, logistics and manufacturing site project experience is a significant advantage.
- Experience managing construction projects across European locations.
