What you will get to do as an SRE

• Build isolation and reliability layers around critical business systems.
• Own your products and services vertically, from ideation to production.
• Design availability and redundancy strategies to meet your SLOs.
• Leverage on automation and virtualization to manage infrastructure, testing, deploying and monitoring.

What you will need to be successful

• About 4+ years of experience with Java Application Servers (Web
  Sphere, JBoss)
• Having a good understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies and how to use them to isolate
  - stack Java web applications.
• Experience migrating
  - premise Java applications to the cloud.
• Proficiency with the AWS toolset (EKS, Fargate, API GW, S3, RDS, Dynamo
  DB, Elasti
  Cache, Kinesis/MFK, etc) and capable of describing infrastructure using Ia
  C technologies (AWS CDK, Terraform, Cloud
  Formation).
• Knowledge of relational (Oracle) and No
  SQL (Couch
  Base) databases.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Post
  Hog, Coralogix, Splunk).
• Previous experience in fintech will certainly be a plus.

This role can be based anywhere in Portugal.
