Responsibilities

• Operate and support cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS (EC2, S3, networking, security).
• Support deployments across staging and production environments.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Git
  Lab.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Configure and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support
  - facing EHR integrations, including VPN setup and troubleshooting, SFTP configuration, and assistance in Mirth-to-IRIS migrations (training provided).
• Participate in incident detection, diagnosis, resolution, and
  - mortem processes.
• Monitor systems and respond to alerts using observability tools (e. g. , New Relic, Wavefront).
• Collaborate closely with software engineering, QA, and Dev
  Ops teams.
• Participate in
  - call rotation with a global team.
• Ensure all infrastructure activities comply with HIPAA and GDPR regulations.

Must Haves

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, Dev
  Ops, or infrastructure roles.
• Experience working with AWS-based infrastructure and related services.
• Strong understanding of VPN tunneling, SFTP configuration, and basic networking.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git
  Lab pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within distributed teams.
• Proactive mindset with a sense of ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable participating in incident response and alerting systems.
• Willingness to collaborate with customer IT contacts for EHR integration tasks.
• Solid foundation and willingness to grow in technical depth.
• Work a Panama schedule with 8-hour daily shifts and participate in
  - call duties 2–3 days per week, including every other weekend.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with Mirth and IRIS (standard EHR platforms).
• Experience with tools like Bitbucket, Codefresh, or Ansible.
• Background in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to infrastructure security best practices.
