WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?

Experience

5+ years in cloud operations or system administration.

Minimum 3 years managing GCP environments in production.

Technical Skills

Hands-on with GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, VPC networking, Cloud Storage, IAM.

Proficiency in monitoring tools, observability practices, and performance tuning.

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Process Knowledge

Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.

Experience with governance and compliance frameworks.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work in

GOOD TO HAVE:

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Dev
Ops Engineer.

HOW WILL YOUR DAILY JOB BE?

Monitoring & Observability

Configure and manage Cloud Monitoring, Logging , and alerting for GCP resources and Kubernetes clusters.

Maintain operational dashboards and ensure SLO/SLI compliance.

Incident & Problem Management

Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.

Manage service requests and changes following ITIL processes.

Routine Maintenance

Perform OS patching, VM lifecycle management, and GKE cluster upgrades.

Ensure compliance with organisational and client standards.

IAM & Security

Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and policies.

Enforce
- privilege access and implement security best practices.

Cost & Capacity Management

Monitor and optimise cloud costs using GCP billing tools.

Plan capacity and ensure efficient resource utilisation.

Automation

Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripts (Python, Bash) for operational tasks.

Implement CI/CD pipelines for configuration and deployment automation.

Governance & Reporting

Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and compliance documentation.

Produce governance reports and operational metrics for stakeholders.

Collaboration

Work with application, security, and network teams.

Participate in
- call rotations and change windows.
