What you will get to do as an SRE
- Build isolation and reliability layers around critical business systems.
- Own your products and services vertically, from ideation to production.
- Design availability and redundancy strategies to meet your SLOs.
- Leverage on automation and virtualization to manage infrastructure, testing, deploying and monitoring.

What you will need to be successful
- About 4+ years of experience with Java Application Servers (Web
Sphere, JBoss) - Having a good understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies and how to use them to isolate
- stack Java web applications. - Experience migrating
- premise Java applications to the cloud. - Proficiency with the AWS toolset (EKS, Fargate, API GW, S3, RDS, Dynamo
DB, Elasti
Cache, Kinesis/MFK, etc) and capable of describing infrastructure using Ia
C technologies (AWS CDK, Terraform, Cloud
Formation). - Knowledge of relational (Oracle) and No
SQL (Couch
Base) databases. - Familiarity with observability tools (Post
Hog, Coralogix, Splunk). - Previous experience in fintech will certainly be a plus.
Location
This role can be based anywhere in Portugal.
