The Role

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you'll be accountable for closely monitoring the availability, performance, and stability of our platforms while working with software development teams to improve critical components.

This role involves working with complex challenges to ensure uptime and reliability across different setups (AWS Cloud, AWS Outpost, Open
Stack), utilizing skills in coding, algorithms, and complexity analysis.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Engage in and improve the entire lifecycle of services—from design, deployment, operation, to refinement.
• Participate in root cause analysis and resolution of production problems.
• Support services
  - launch through system design consultation, developing platforms, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
• Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and system health.
• Conduct performance and capacity testing.
• Enhance reliability monitoring and alerting systems.
• Scale systems sustainably via automation and implement changes to improve reliability and velocity.
• Perform audits of performance and reliability vulnerabilities.
• Define and update Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
• Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.

We'd Like You To Master In

• Operating Systems & Networking;
• Programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go;
• Public cloud providers;
• Microservices architectures;
• Message queuing services and databases;
• Configuration management tools like Chef and Ansible;
• Monitoring solutions such as Datadog and Splunk;
• CI/CD pipelines involving Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, or similar tools.
