Job Description

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a team that develops and supports major trading platforms. You will help ensure access to various markets for end users from many countries. Your responsibilities include maintaining availability, automating release and deployment processes, and implementing seamless monitoring and alerting for all solutions.

Qualifications

• Work closely with developers to prototype and design new infrastructure features,
• Deploy, install, configure, and maintain sophisticated Trading/Finance software,
• Configure
  - metal instances using Infrastructure as Code,
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines,
• Make key decisions regarding scalability, reliability, and accessibility,
• Install and manage monitoring systems, both
  - house developed and external,
• Design, deploy, and configure
  - based servers and networks, including server and storage provisioning, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools,
• Administer UNIX infrastructure—installation, configuration, and maintenance,
• Work with Nexus and GIT repositories.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience as an SRE or Dev
  Ops engineer,
• Experience supporting JVM applications (garbage collection, memory leaks),
• Software development experience,
• Strong OS-level administration skills on Linux and/or UNIX,
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, and/or Groovy,
• Experience configuring Team
  City CI/CD pipelines,
• Knowledge of IAAS solutions using Ansible and/or Terraform,
• Experience with Docker orchestration (Open
  Shift/Hashicorp),
• Ability to read and analyze errors effectively,
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP and ISO/OSI stack,
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Zabbix, Elasticsearch or Opensearch, Grafana, Kibana, etc. ,
• Experience working with web servers such as Apache, Nginx, HAproxy, Envoy,
• Proficiency in UNIX infrastructure administration,
• Ability to solve problems using code and scripting,
• English proficiency at level B2 or higher.
