Your Mission:
The Senior Manager Operational Procurement is responsible for the dedicated department. He is organizing, leading and developing the team, ensures that the work is delivered on time, and the prioritization is made. He or she also ensures that the department is following correct processes, motivates the team, and is the first escalation contact for procurement matters.
• Ensure the supply of our productions in the optimal quantity, at the desired time, in the right quality and price (SCM-7R principle)
• Plans, Organizes, controls, maintains, and monitors the team.
• Trains the team, so that everyone can do their work in the best way and matter.
• Assumes budget and schedule responsibility for the assigned area.
• Drives continuous improvement actions and recognizes gaps and defines a roadmap to close them
• Responsible for correct basic data and a transparent communication with figures & facts
• Monitor proactively with the team the demand and delivery dates, make inquiries and price comparisons, and process orders and quality notifications via the ERP system (SAP)
• Ensure optimal supplier performance in close collaboration with strategic sourcing
• First point of contact for procurement escalation in his assigned area in the

- day business.
• Leads the team with integrity, a growth mindset, and with numbers/data; creates KPI reports to inform internal and external parties.
• Develops continuous improvement measures with the team to optimize purchasing and supply processes (e. g. Kanban, consignment, or VMI) and ensures clean master data management.
• Can take over the tasks of a Purchaser, if required.
• Participates in internal Audits, if required.
• Supports the team in SAP MM-Module in close collaboration with Strategic Purchaser, Supplier Development and Production Planning
Your Story:
• Higher Education towards Procurement or Supply Chain Management
• First leadership experience (min. 5 year)
• Solid technical and production background in a
- based industry
• Very good knowledge in ERP “SAP” (MM & PP-Module) and MS-Office applications
• Good understanding of Operational Excellence Methods
• Very Good planning and coordination skills
• Customer oriented high reliability & adherence to deadlines
• Someone who thinks outside the box
• Solution driven, willing to make a difference, strong entrepreneurial thinking,
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Outstanding communication and teamwork ability
• Good stress resistance and perseverance, able to stay structured, focused on the key priorities
