We are seeking a Data Engineer with expertise in
- native data platforms, particularly within Snowflake environments. You will join the Scrum team of one of our products as part of the development team and collaborate with data analysts and internal teams to ensure both the delivery and operational run of the product in line with the sprint backlog.
In this context, as a Data Platform Expert, your role will include:
- Working in a cloud environment to actively improve existing solutions and support stakeholders.
- Serving as the technical referent for Snowflake and data usage.
- Contributing to data platform evolution, including AI capability enablement and platform setup.
- Staying up to date with industry best practices in data management, with a strong focus on Snowflake.
- Operating in a highly available environment, ensuring alignment with security practices and compliance regulations.
- Supporting the run of the product, including object and grant management, monitoring, optimization, cost control, and team support.
- Performing research, discovery, and exploration to implement new features and capabilities (e. G. , ML, Gen AI), or integrating Snowflake with tools like connectors and Apache Iceberg.
- Advocating for and enforcing data best practices and consistent usage across the organization.
Our ideal candidates should have:
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data pipeline development
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data technologies (e. G. , Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift)
- Solid foundation in cloud environments (AWS, Snowflake)
- Experience working in a Dev
Ops environment with CI/CD pipelines and versioning tools (e. G. , Git
Hub, Git
Lab, Atlassian suite) - Skilled in tools such as Git
Hub/Git
Lab, Terraform, and dbt - Experience with BI tools (e. G. , Tableau, Power BI, Thought
Spot, Sigma) is a plus
