SOC Analyst – Hybrid (Lisbon)

Overview

Join Nimber, a fast‑growing IT solutions company, as a SOC Analyst to monitor, analyze and respond to security incidents. The role is based in Lisbon with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM tools such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel and other security platforms.
• Analyze alerts, distinguishing between false positives and real threats.
• Execute basic containment actions (e. g. , blocking malicious IPs).
• Escalate complex incidents to Tier 2/3 analysts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of networks, operating systems and cyber‑security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with SIEM solutions and ability to follow incident‑response playbooks.
• Certifications such as Comp
  TIA Security+, EC‑Council SOC Analyst (CSA) or Microsoft SC‑200 are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, detail orientation and proactive attitude.
