Tier I analyst in the cyber security operations (SOC) team, responsible for investigating suspicious and potentially malicious activity within the networks and systems.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

- Prevention - mitigating risks associated with such incidents before substantial damage is done

- Detection - procedures for detecting security incidents

- Response - procedures for reporting and responding to security incidents

- Services include, but not limited to, activities such as provision and support of security tools, security information and event management, firewall and network monitoring for breaches, vulnerability management, intrusion detection and prevention systems management, detection of unauthorized access to FDIC systems and data, denial of service detection and mitigation, and malware protection.

- Supports incident handling and incident detection, analysis.

- Supports in the identification, documentation, and development of computer and network security countermeasures.

- Monitor a SIEM tool with multiple use cases.
