Role Description
We’re looking for a full‑time Social Media Specialist based in Lisbon, with hybrid work flexibility. This role is responsible for managing and growing Tripnly’s social media presence, supporting our digital agency services, creating engaging content, implementing social media marketing strategies, and promoting Tripnly’s events and campaigns.
Daily tasks include managing all social media channels for Tripnly and our agency clients, planning and executing monthly content calendars, responding to comments and messages, analyzing social media metrics, supporting event promotion and live coverage, and working closely with co‑founders as well as collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to ensure cohesive digital marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a steward for the brand – Uphold Tripnly’s identity across all channels, ensuring consistency in voice, visuals, and messaging.
- Manage and grow social media presence – Oversee all channels and agency client accounts, driving engagement and audience growth.
- Develop and execute monthly content plans – Align with marketing goals and brand identity.
- Create engaging content – Design posts, stories, and campaigns tailored to each platform (text, image, video), including Instagram, Tik
Tok, You
Tube, and Reels. Capture videos and photos for social campaigns when needed. - Monitor analytics and KPIs – Track growth, engagement, and awareness; use insights to improve content performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams – Work with creative and marketing teams to ensure social media strategy aligns with brand objectives.
- Work with media outlets, influencers, and partners – Amplify Tripnly’s digital identity through press releases, global campaigns, and influencer marketing activities.
- Support events and campaigns – Plan and execute promotion and live social coverage.

Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of social media management experience.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; proactive and enthusiastic about spotting social and digital trends (must‑have).
- Previous experience in a digital marketing agency.
- Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, Cap
Cut, In
Shot, Da
Vinci Resolve, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. ). - Deep knowledge of social media algorithms, formats, and best practices, specifically for Instagram, Tik
Tok, You
Tube, and Linked
In. - Ability to create high‑quality text, image, and video content; experienced in Instagram, Tik
Tok, and You
Tube editing; skilled in recording videos and taking photos for social campaigns. - Full fluency in Portuguese and English (C2 level or higher).
- Strong communication, copywriting, organizational, and creative skills.
- Excellent multitasking skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong interest in travel, tourism, and sustainability.

- Previous experience working with travel tech, tourism, or
