Job description

Software Architect

As part of Mantu’s growth, we are looking for a new talent within our Information Systems team for a new growing hub in Porto! Reporting to the Head of Information Systems, you will join a multicultural team with people based in various countries. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that support our internal operations and business transformation.

Your missions

• Design and implement scalable and secure software architectures for internal platforms and tools.
• Lead technical
  - making and provide guidance to development teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and Mantu’s architectural standards.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation and guidelines.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Oversee migration of legacy systems to modern architectures.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the Information Systems team.

Your profile

• Academic background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-7 years in software architecture, with a proven track record in designing and implementing technical solutions for internal business operations.
• English language: Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.
• Tools / software: Strong experience with. NET (Core/6/7/8),
  - native architectures, microservices,
  - driven design, containerization, and distributed systems.
• AI/Open
  AI experience: Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Open
  AI Chat
  GPT, Git
  Hub Copilot, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Soft skills: Structured
  - solving, leadership, collaboration, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
