Software Architect (Integration-Focused) - Porto

We are looking for someone who has grown from a senior developer role into an architectural position, with

Responsibilities

Write clean,
- quality,
- performance, maintainable code
Design, develop, and support software solutions including applications, database integrations, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
Lead and support architectural decisions, particularly around systems integration and scalability
Coordinate
- functionally to ensure projects meet business objectives and compliance standards
Support the testing and deployment of new products and features
Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Relevant experience as a senior developer with direct exposure to software architecture
Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema
Proven experience in systems integration (e. g. , ESB, APIs, messaging systems)
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
Ability to
- task, stay organized, and prioritize work efficiently
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
