Randstad is recruiting a Software Developer for GCS to join its client directly

We’re looking for a skilled Mid-Level Backend C# Developer to join our team, working on an innovative desktop application project built with a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) stack. This role offers a chance to grow into the position, starting with supporting our current platform to gain a strong understanding of the business logic and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Learn and Support: Start by supporting the existing WPF-based system to understand its architecture, functionality, and how it serves business needs.
• Develop Features: Transition into developing backend features for a modernized WPF desktop application, focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Streamline Workflows: Build and enhance backend services and APIs that improve operator workflows and increase automation.
• Data Handling: Manage
  - time data processing and integration, ensuring seamless communication between backend and UI components.
• Collaborate: Work closely with UI developers using WPF to deliver cohesive and user friendly desktop solutions.
• Optimize Performance: Identify and resolve performance issues in both backend logic and integration with the WPF stack.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on C# and. NET, including experience working on WPF desktop applications.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of building APIs, integrating backend logic with WPF UIs, and handling data in
  - time environments.
• Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex issues and deliver efficient solutions.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a
  - oriented mindset.
• Location: Able to work Hybrid in Lisbon's office or Caldas da Rainha
