Capital is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to contribute to the i
Capital platform. In this role, you will leverage your practical expertise in agile development methodologies and engineering best practices. As an SDET, you will collaborate closely with both the Development and Testing teams. The ideal candidate is a
- on developer with technical leadership experience, capable of understanding, enhancing, and implementing existing automation test frameworks. You will also work alongside engineers and product managers to support
- based testing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust automated test suites.
• Integrate automated test suites with existing build and deployment processes.
• Maintain automated tests to align with changes in system design and architecture.
• Integrate the automation framework with tools like JIRA.
• Create, manage, and utilize defect workflows in conjunction with automated test execution.
• Design and publish meaningful metrics to support the creation and execution of automated tests.
• Develop and implement performance testing suites.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, API, automation, performance, and load testing.

Qualifications

• 6-7+ years of QA engineering experience, with a proven track record in Agile SDLC teams, ideally involving CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in the financial domain is a plus.
• Proficiency in Java programming, with a focus on Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), and design patterns, preferably within a CI/CD environment.
• Experience working with Java microservices and REST APIs, along with exposure to React
  - end development.
• CI/CD tools: Maven, Sonar, Git, Team
  City/Jenkins, Docker.
• Exposure to banking or finance environments is preferred.
• Testing tools: JUnit, Webdriver
  IO, Protractor, JMeter, or similar.

Employees in this role will work fully remote. Some positions may be designated
- office based on function.
