Software Developer (Java, Python, Grafana)

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Software Developer (Java, Python, Grafana) for a long contract based in Porto, Portugal.

Its paying well and my client can interview asap!

Role Description / Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Grafana dashboards, with complex and
  - series oriented SQL queries.
• Write and optimize SQL code for new functionalities and tests, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Produce clear and accurate documentation for all implemented code.
• Actively contribute to continuous code improvement and quality enhancement.
• Design and maintain automated test suites using appropriate testing frameworks (Unit Testing).
• Generate and maintain delivery reports and related documentation.
• Work within a technical environment that includes Java, Python, Git, Jenkins (Groovy), JIRA, Gherkin-based automated tests, and AWS.
• Develop Python and/or Java code to support dashboards (e. g. , enabling automated Grafana dashboard screenshots for email reports).

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Apache Flink, Kafka, and other streaming data technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and serverless computing.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or relevant technologies.
