The Work You’ll Do

The Software Developer can leverage technology to solve difficult problems at scale, considering security, performance, reliability, and maintainability. This role challenges individuals to adapt quickly, share knowledge, and build high‑quality software that satisfies customers.

More Specifically You Will

• Design, develop, and maintain. NET / React software solutions across multiple projects.
• Work with Kubernetes to deliver features to production environments.
• Support APIs and services in production, development, and test environments.
• Be a member of an experienced scrum team using Jira, Git and Confluence.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Architects and Business Analysts to refine requirements and designs.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain cloud‑based applications and services.
• Participate on cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions from inception through delivery.
• Seize opportunities to improve processes, standards and practices.
• Work with more senior developers on complex stories & tasks.
• Develop software consistent with Sovos coding standards & conventions.
• Collaborate in a fast‑paced agile environment under tight deadlines to “ship” new releases each sprint.
• Take part in an active culture of learning by exploring new technologies and sharing knowledge.

What We Need From You

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of successfully working in a team‑oriented development organization.
• Advanced English skills (written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge of. NET frameworks and experience in:
• SQL and No
  SQL databases.
• Redis.
• Deployment pipelines.
• Message queue mechanisms.
• Web Services (SOAP, REST).
• JSON/XML.
• Java
  Script / Node. JS.
• CI/CD principles.
• Test automation.
• Git.
• Containers (Docker).
